UMD to Host Upcoming GPU Summit

The University of Maryland is hosting an intensive three-day workshop Oct. 27-29, featuring talks, panels and hands- on tutorials on the latest advances in GPU computing, with a focus on applications in medical informatics, cybersecurity, engineering simulations and geosciences.

The summit will feature experts from UMD and NVIDIA — a world leader in visual computing — with additional participation from the Army Research Lab, DARPA, FDA, NASA, National Institutes of Health, National Institute of Standards and Technology, Laboratory for Telecommunication Sciences, USDA, and others.
