Sarah Wiegreffe is an assistant professor of computer science with an affiliate appointment in the University of Maryland Institute for Advanced Computer Studies.
Her research involves working on the interpretability and transparency of language models (LMs) and other neural networks, with the goal of increasing their reliability, safety and performance. Wiegraffe also focuses on providing natural language explanations for users of LMs.
