HCIL will be well-represented at ACM's CHI 2015 Conference in Seoul, with 11 papers accepted, including several from Jon Froehlich’s group, which won two honorable mention "Best of CHI" awards, and Catherine Plaisant being inducted into the CHI Academy.
He co-authored a chapter in the "Handbook of the History of Logic" on the history of deduction in databases, highlighting his pioneering work in deductive and disjunctive deductive databases, including the development of the Generalized Closed World Assumption.
