Hicks to Present at Kavli Frontiers of Science Symposium

Michael Hicks, a professor of computer science and member of UMIACS, will showcase his research at the distinguished 25th Annual U.S. Kavli Frontiers of Science Symposium.

Hicks is one of five computer scientists invited to present his work at the National Academy of Sciences-sponsored conference. He will present his research on developing programming language technology that helps programmers build software that is reliable, available and secure.

The symposium is Nov. 7-9 at the Arnold and Mabel Beckman Center of the National Academies of Science and Engineering in Irvine, Calif.
