Biography: 

Victor Albert is a physicist at the National Institute of Standards and Technology and a Fellow in the Joint Center for Quantum Information and Computer Science.

Albert’s research interests include the theory of quantum error correction and open quantum systems, and their applications to quantum computing and atomic, molecular and optical physics.

He received his doctorate in physics from Yale University in 2017.
