Megan Fritz

Associate Professor , Computational Biology

Megan Fritz is an associate professor of entomology with an affiliate appointment in the University of Maryland Institute for Advanced Computer Studies.

She studies how human activities impact arthropod genomes and adaptive changes through laboratory experiments, field sampling, and advanced molecular methods. Fritz’s research examines the evolutionary effects of human-induced landscape changes on arthropods and explores the consequences for agriculture and vector-borne disease transmission.
