Annual HCIL Symposium Draws Eclectic Crowd

An eclectic group of more than 200 UMD faculty and students, corporate partners and other guests attended the annual Human-Computer Interaction Lab symposium, held May 22 and 23 at the University of Maryland. The event featured dozens of talks, tutorials and workshops related to how humans interact with computers and technology. The lab, jointly administered between the University of Maryland Institute for Advanced Computer Studies and the College of Information Studies, Maryland's iSchool, just celebrated 30 years of research, education and scholarship.
