The program—supported by the UMD Department of Computer Science and the University of Maryland Institute for Advanced Computer Studies—fosters research, educational and employment opportunities between the University of Maryland and technology-related industry leaders.

CapTech joins 21 other companies, including AOL, Appian, Booz Allen Hamilton, FireEye, Google, OPIS and Yahoo, that are partnering with UMD faculty on cutting-edge research and gaining access to a highly qualified pool of students for potential internships and full-time employment.
