Yuening Hu

I am currently a research scientist in the Web Mining and Search Group at Yahoo! Labs. I received my Ph.D. in Computer Science from University of Maryland, College Park, focusing on developing statistical interactive models with users and help users to explore large corpus. My Ph.D. advisor is Dr. Jordan Boyd-Graber.

  • Probabilistic models, including topic models, nonparametric Bayesian models
  • Interactive topic modeling, which gets feedback from users to improve the topic models
