Bazaruto archipelago is a very good place to visit for snorkeling, scuba diving and secluded islands and beaches. While we stayed at Vilanculo and Inhassoro and used local operations to scuba dive the islands, it would have been preferable (if much more expensive and isolating) to stay at the lodges on the island.

Unfortunately, snorkeling, scuba diving and swimming are not attractive at Vilanculo or Inhassoro (but the islands are a different story). Excellent seafood can be had in the town(s).
