VIKAS CHANDRAKANT RAYKAR

I currently work as a scientist for Siemens Medical Solutions, USA. Well I recently finished my doctoral studies in the Computer Science Department at the University of Maryland, CollegePark in the area of machine learning. Prior to that I got my Masters from the Electrical Engineering Department majoring in Signal Processing. I used to work as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Perceptual Interfaces and Reality Lab. and UMIACS under Dr. Ramani Duraiswami.  Did my undergrad from Regional Engineering College,Trichy, India.

My research interests include machine learning (large scale methods, ranking), signal processing (microphone arrays), and spatial audio (role of the pinna).
