I am a PhD student in computer science at the University of Maryland, working with professor Larry Davis. I received a MSc in computer science in 2010 from the University of Western Ontario, Canada under the supervision of professor Yuri Boykov.

Research

I am interested broadly in computer vision, machine learning, combinatorial optimization, and mathematical programming. I am currently working on a probabilistic approach to high-level interpretation of images and videos.

My Master's thesis focused on submodular energy minimization and its application to multi-class image segmentation problems with contextual constraints.

Code

RegionPushRelabel (RPR) is a parallel out-of-core max-flow/min-cut algorithm for massive graphs with repeating structure. The algorithm extends the work on grid graphs described in Delong and Boykov, CVPR 2008. The code can be found here.
