Assignment H6

This homework is due before the start of the class session indicated on the syllabus. Partial credit may be awarded.

The goal of this assignment is to gain experience with building an actual entity relationship model. We don't care quite so much about the actual notation that you use, so long as what you submit is clear. You may find it easiest to generate this using Powerpoint, but any form you find easy to generate is fine.

Create an entity relationship model for the automobile repair shop in Exercise H5. You should use at least the same four entities that you used in Exercise H5 (customers, cars, mechanics and bills). You should indicate the attributes for each entity, which may be the same set you used in Exercise H5, or some improved set. Note that some things you might have thought of as attributes before (e.g., which mechanic is working on a specific car) will now be represented as relationships.
