Assignment H2

The purpose of this assignment is to get a sense for how the Web is actually built by making a Web page by hand and putting it on a Web server. Nothing fancy -- just something a bit more complex than a Hello World page.

Create a public Web page that would be suitable as a personal Web site (Whether you use it as your public Web site or not is up to you). The Web page must be in hand-coded HTML. The Web page should include the name of some real or fictional person (you or someone else), a photo of the person whose name you have provided, information about the person whose name you have provided, and at least one link to another page. Note that the goal here is not to create an elegant pag but rather to simply get some experience with creating and hosting a Web page. Place this page on the Web at http://terpconnect.umd.edu/~YOURUSERNAMEHERE/301/hw2.html (where YOURUSERNAMEHERE is your terpconnect user name) and submit the URL of your page using ELMS. Note that (as with all assignments) you must hand-type the content of this page yourself -- you may not copy a file for a page that was created by someone else.
