Miniature Gaming Figures
I've been playing wargames and roleplaying games since 1976. I still
play when I have time, and I've been painting miniatures for nearly as
long, off and on. I've put some pictures of miniatures I've painted up
on the web here. As I get more time, I'll put up more pictures.
25mm Miniatures. Here are some
pictures of 25mm miniatures I've painted. At the moment they are solely
by Ral Partha.
15mm Miniatures. I've
recently become interested in a medieval and ancient warfare game called
DBA (De Bellis Antiquitatis). It can be played with 15mm or 25mm
figures, but 15mm are way cheaper and the game can be played on a much
smaller table, so I went with 15mm. The 15mm miniatures I've painted
are roughly surveyed here.
I've made comments on the quality of the figurines as well.

of gaming miniatures.

- Essex -
Essex have the broadest and best range of 15mm medieval figures. Most
of my DBA armies are Essex, and I'm very happy with them.
-
Irregular - inexpensive 15mm figures and a broad range. Good livestock;
the people aren't quite as nice.
-
Black Raven Foundry - very high-quality 15mm fantasy figures. The
basis for the bulk of my orc army.
- Ral Partha - only a small number
of 15mm figs (huge resource for 25mm figs).

- Ral Partha perhaps the biggest
online resource for 25mm figs, and some of the nicest.
