I am a fourth year PhD student in the department of
Computer Science at
Univ. of Maryland College Park. I work
as a research assistant with
David
Doermann at Language
and Media Processing Lab.,
UMIACS. My research interests lie in the areas of Document Image
Analysis and retrieval, Computer vision and Machine
learning. I have been working on following problems:
- Ranking and retrieval of document images
- Extraction of handwritten textlines in document images
- Content based image retrieval(CBIR)
- Sharpness estimation and enhancement of document and scene images
