I am Jagadeesh Jagarlamudi, doing my Ph.D. (2008 - 201?) with Hal Daumé III at Department of Computer Science in University of Maryland College Park. I am associated with the CLIP lab of UMIACS. My main research interests are:
  • Multilinguality (in NLP and Information Retrieval)
  • Machine Learning (Topic Models and Bayesian Inference)
Before joining my Ph.D., I worked as Assistant Researcher (2006-2008) in Multilingual Systems group at Microsoft Research India, Bangalore. Previously, I did my Masters (2006) and Undergraduate (2001-2005) studies at IIIT-Hyderabad.
