Personal

I was born in Tehran, Iran in 1970. I graduated from Soroosh-Azadi High School (aka Iran Zamin) in 1988. In the same year I enetered the Electrical Engineering program of University of Tehran. After graduation, I went to get a M.Sc. in EE, with an emphasis on communication systems. But it was not the subject which I could bear studying it. So, I went to military service for two years. Meanwhile, I started my own firm in EE and CS with other friends of college. Which my primary job was to hack everything! It resulted in a couple of hardware solutions. The profit was barely enough to get the ticket to come to the states.

The only sport which I was professionally engaged in, was rally sport. It is a competition for normal cars across regular roads. So you think I am a driving fan? Nope. That sport involves two people, one as the driver the other as the navigator who helps the driver in finding the route and driving. The navigator also does a lot of calculations.

I was studying in East Lansing , Michigan for 19 months. I had quite good times there as winters were not as cold as they could have been.
