• Syntax issues
  • Missing words and features. Resolution: this is a bug; features will be made available in IL0 when words are deleted
  • Head in copular construction. Is it with "be" or not? Resolution: unresolved action item for content committee.
  • Removing, demoting, or hiding prepositions? Resolution: all agree relationship should be between heads (verb and object of prep). Final decision on approach to prep is unresolved action item for content committee

• Tiamat+Tred progress status
  • Columbia: Tiamat runs not Tred
  • CMU: Tiamat + Tred running Linux
  • UMD: Tiamat + Tred running Unix/windows
  • MITRE: Firewall issues cannot deal with Omega
  • NMSU: Tiamat + Tred running Linux
  • ISI: Tiamat + Tred running Linux
  • Windows problem to be addressed since that is easiest option for annotators (solution is to allow Tiamat to work on both windows and Linux/Unix)

• Tiamat Problems
  • Verbs are not showing for NMSU
  • Mikrokosmos nodes not showing
  • Adding concepts manually in Tred is not preserved in Tiamat
  • Buggy interaction between fs/txt/fsx
  • One file question. Resolution: preference for one file with full surface sentence as hidden feature.

• Procedure Discussion
  • Surface to IL0 to IL1 with Columbia as czar? Versus no czar
    • Issue is semantics/syntax decisions needed as part of IL0 fix ups
  • Resolution: no resolution... content/procedure committee action item

• Evaluation discussion
  • Which tree comparison techniques? Resolution: too early for decisions by review of generic tree comparison metrics and tools is needed

• Future Funding? No resolution. Owen to investigate.

• Track Mikrokosmos theta roles and definitions (ISI)
  • Conflict between Mikrokosmos and LCS roles to be address by Lori

• Tool issues
  • Setup/problems for windows addressed by Lei and Nizar ASAP by Monday
  • Finalized version of tool should be made available for next week task by Monday night
  • Suggested training day for annotators in sites is Tuesday (see action item about task)
