• verbs like "give": get rid of "to" at IL0; criteria still unclear; need to go over previous notes on strongly giverned prepositions (SGPs); currently not handled well in English IL0
• issue of P/N headedness, brought up by Japanese: odd to have P as head, but then why is English different?
• Lori: proposal to develop general criteria for headedness, when "split" , go for deep (i.e., pred-arg) analysis; Simon interested in working on this in more detail; Owen sends Simon hand-written diatribe by Melcuk on this topic once he finds a copying machine

• tool issue: one word -> multiple translations in E -> multiple Omega entries -- how does tool support this process?
