I am a scientist working at the University of Maryland Institute of Advanced Computer Studies (UMIACS). My background is in fluid mechanics and applied mathematics. My research interests are broad and include many interdisciplinary areas where mathematical modeling and efficient ways of solution of mathematical problems are crucial. On January 27, 2005 the
