The talk will address the design and implementation of an automatic Arabic to English Cross Lingual Information Retrieval experiment (Arabic query searching English document collection). Some of the areas that the talk will address are Problem design, dictionary based query translation, solving dictionary coverage problems, word stemming, and future plans.
