The CLIP Colloquium Series presents...

A Discussion of CLIP Lab Resources

Philip Resnik CLIP Lab
September 24, 2008, 11 a.m. AVW 2120

Please come prepared to discuss questions like these and to share your knowledge and experiences... How do you get your hands on LDC data? How are we keeping track of other corpora and data? What kinds of tools do we have? If you need a {tokenizer, sentence boundary detector, morphological analyzer, POS tagger, parser, ...etc.}, what do we have and which is the best one to use? If you bring in a new tool and get it running, what should you do to make it part of the lab's shared knowledge? Where is that Cloud?

This talk is relevant to ALL students. If you have just joined the CLIP Lab your questions will shed light on how we can improve knowledge sharing. And if you are a veteran bring your expertise.

About the Speaker

No bios for internal speakers :-) Plus, Philip isn't a speaker, he's just there to help guide the discussion. You guys are going to do all the work. :-)
